Who is Priya D'Singh?

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in life, it’s that human connection is essential for healing from trauma and staying on top of whatever life can throw at you. You might find yourself in a situation where you feel alone and like there’s no one reaching out their hand, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I’m here, and I’m ready to walk hand in hand with you throughout your healing journey.

Who I Am: Survivor, Trauma Therapist, & Advocate for Healing

My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by both pain and healing. The experiences that shaped me early in life gave me a deep understanding of how trauma can affect the way we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through the world. They also taught me the importance of being met with compassion, understanding, and support without shame. These values remain at the heart of my work today.

Trauma can leave invisible wounds that linger long after painful experiences have ended. It can impact the nervous system, relationships, self-worth, emotional safety, and the ability to trust ourselves or others. Sometimes it shows up as anxiety, emotional numbness, people-pleasing, hypervigilance, shame, grief, or a deep feeling of disconnection from yourself and the world around you.

I know how exhausting it can feel to carry emotional pain while still trying to hold everything together. Healing is not linear, and it is rarely something we should have to navigate alone. My own healing journey gave me a deep passion for helping others feel seen, safe, and supported as they process trauma and reconnect with themselves. I believe that with compassion, safety, and the right support, healing is possible.

Over the years, I have witnessed both the heaviness of emotional suffering and the incredible resilience of the human spirit. I have seen people move from survival mode into a place of greater peace, self-awareness, and emotional freedom. Those moments continue to remind me that even after profound pain, transformation is possible.

More than anything, I want you to know that you do not have to carry your pain alone. Therapy can be a space where you feel emotionally safe enough to exhale, soften, and begin healing at your own pace.

My Credentials

My personal experiences and passion for emotional healing inspired me to earn my Master’s in Social Work and dedicate my career to supporting others through life’s most difficult moments. I have worked in mental health and addiction treatment settings with individuals facing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Working with people from many different backgrounds and stages of life has deepened my understanding of how important it is for therapy to feel safe, compassionate, and free of judgment.

Today, my practice is rooted in trauma-informed care and creating a space where clients feel supported, empowered, and genuinely cared for. My goal is not only to help you cope with what you are going through, but to help you better understand yourself, reconnect with your inner strength, and build a healthier relationship with yourself moving forward.

What I Help With

Trauma can impact every area of our lives, often in ways we do not immediately recognize. It can shape our relationships, self-esteem, emotional responses, and ability to feel safe or connected. Anxiety, depression, grief, heartbreak, burnout, PTSD, and major life changes can all leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or alone.

When we are carrying unresolved pain, it can become difficult to understand our emotions or feel hopeful about the future. Therapy offers a space to slow down, process those experiences safely, and begin reconnecting with yourself in a gentler way.

Together, we can explore the roots of your emotions with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment. Whether you are healing from trauma, navigating a difficult relationship, coping with anxiety or depression, grieving a loss, or struggling through a life transition, you deserve support that helps you feel empowered, understood, and emotionally grounded.

Even in your hardest moments, healing is possible.

How I Help: Self Love, Healing, & Guidance

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing begins with compassion, especially the compassion we learn to give ourselves. Trauma often teaches people to live in survival mode, to silence their needs, or to believe they must carry everything alone. Therapy can be a space where those patterns begin to soften.

I help clients reconnect with themselves through self-awareness, emotional healing, mindfulness, and self-compassion. Together, we work toward creating a deeper sense of safety, balance, and trust within yourself.

If you feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, or exhausted, you do not have to navigate it alone. Reaching out for support is an act of courage and self-care, not weakness. Life transitions can also bring uncertainty, fear, grief, and emotional overwhelm. Whether you are adjusting to adulthood, processing trauma, navigating relationship changes, coping with divorce, grieving loss, or struggling with changing identities and life roles, you deserve a supportive space to process what you are carrying.

No matter what you are going through, healing is possible, and you do not have to walk through it alone.
